Ghana forward Emmanuel Boateng rejoins Portuguese side Rio Ave

Ghana international, Emmanuel Boateng has returned to Portuguese side, Rio Ave in the ongoing summer transfer.

The former Levante forward has signed a two-year deal with the Green and White lads after ending his stay with Chinese side Dalian Professional FC.

The 26-year-old spent the last three seasons in China where he managed to register 14 goals in 41 games for the side.

Boateng returns to the club he featured during the 2014/15 season, after leaving Arcos, he played for Moreirense and Spanish side UD Levante.

The sharp-shooting forward is expected to make an appearance for Rio Ave against G.D. Estoril Praia in the Portuguese top-flight league fixture on Friday

He has been capped seven times for the Black Stars of Ghana with a goal to his credit.
