Ghanaian youngster Maxwell Woledzi joins Vitória SC from FC Nordsjælland

Ghanaian international, Maxwell Woledzi has completed his anticipated move from FC Nordsjælland to Portuguese outfit Vitória SC.

The transfer has been confirmed by his Danish Club through an official communique on their website.

“FC Nordsjælland and Vitória SC from Guimarães have agreed on a transfer, where Maxwell Woledzi continues his career in Portugal.

“From Farum to Guimarães. That trip is taken by Maxwell Woledzi, after FC Nordsjælland and Vitória SC have agreed on a transfer that makes Portugal the next step for the 20-year-old central defender,” a club statement from the Danish side has said.

Maxwell Woledzi joined FC Nordsjælland in the summer of 2019 from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana.

During his stay in Denmark, the young centre-back played 32 matches for FC Nordsjælland and has since developed to become a sought-after defender.

After his move to Vitória SC, Maxwell Woledzi is now set to play with his compatriot Abdul Mumin who also joined the Portuguese club from FC Nordsjælland.
