GHPL: Karela United ends five-game winless run to defeat Bechem Utd 2-1
Karela United on Sunday afternoon finally returned to winning ways after a frustrating run of five games to defeat Bechem United 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Anyinase-based outfit in April played five matches but failed to record a single win. In a run that has stained their aim to win the league title, they only managed to pick points from three draws as they lost the other two matches.
Facing off with Bechem United in a matchday 23 fixture of the Ghana Premier League today, Karela United put up a good performance to end the poor run.
On the matchday, the first half between the two good sides ended in a draw with Diawisie Taylor’s opening goal for the home team in the 18th minute being canceled later in the 29th minute by an equalizer from Kofi Agbesimah
