Coach Ibrahim Tanko names 20-man squad for Black Stars B friendly encounter against Uzbekistan
The head coach for the Black Stars B team, coach Ibrahim Tanko has settled on a 20-man squad for the upcoming friendly encounter against Uzbekistan.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) after negotiations with the football association in Uzbekistan has scheduled a friendly match for March 25, 2021, in Tashkent.
In a list of 20 players named by Black Stars B coach Ibrahim Tanko, most of the home-based players who have been preparing in Accra for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers have been included.
The team will take advantage of the friendly to prepare for the 2021 WAFU Cup of Nations in Nigeria and the upcoming CHAN qualifiers.
Ghana U-20 stars Samuel Ashie Quaye, Percious Boah and Afriyie Barnieh have been drafted in the team after their excellent displays at the 2021 Total CAF U-20 AFCON.
