Vincent Atinga Sets Sight On Black Stars Call-Up After Covid-19 Break
Former Hearts of Oak defender, Vincent Atinga has expressed his desire to earn a call-up to play for the Black Stars when international football makes a return after the Coronavirus period.
The Ghanaian international currently plays for Kuwaiti top-flight side Al-Shabab where he has gradually established himself as a key figure.
According to the player who played a massive role for Ghana’s Black Stars B team in their triumph in the 2017 WAFU Cup competition, he is ready for a role in the Black Stars proper.
“It is the motive of every player to serve his nation. As a player, if you are able to play for the national team, your family always feel proud.
"So my gate is always open to the country. Whenever they need my service I will come”, Vincent Atingah told Angel FM’s Don Summer in an interview.
The 26-year-old earned his first Black Stars call-up after the WAFU Cup competition in a World Cup qualifying game against Uganda but couldn’t play any role.
