Carolyna Hutchings Announces Exit From 'Real Housewives Of Lagos'
Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Carolyna Hutchings has officially announced her departure from the reality television show, 'The Real Housewives of Lagos' (RHOL).
In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, she declared that she has moved on from the programme and wants to be left out of anything relating to the show.
Hutchings, who returned for the third season after taking a break from Season 2, described her time on the show as a chapter she enjoyed but has now closed. "RHOL was a chapter. Carolina is the story. And the story continues," she wrote, emphasizing that the show does not define her career or her reality.
She noted that before RHOL, she was already an actress, producer, and storyteller with over 60 movies and award-winning productions to her name.
The ex-wife of billionaire businessman, Musa Danjuma expressed frustration over being constantly linked to cast members and their disputes, stating that she prefers to address issues directly and does not engage in cliques or friendships on the show.
"I do not do cliques or friendships on RHOL. If I have an issue with someone, I address that person directly, as I have always done fearlessly," she said.
She urged the public and bloggers to stop attaching her to any RHOL-related drama, insisting that her kindness should not be mistaken for weakness.
"I have far too much on my table to achieve," she added, noting that she is focused on building a legacy and new creative ventures.
Caroline was married to billionaire businessman Musa Danjuma from 2007 until their high-profile divorce in 2016. The former couple's union produced three children.
