Bobrisky Defends KC Luxury, Slams Friends Who Distanced Themselves After Arrest

Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has criticised people who have distanced themselves from social media influencer and luxury goods dealer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as KC Luxury, following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Bobrisky made the remarks in a post shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday while reacting to the growing criticism surrounding KC Luxury.

He accused some people of being hypocritical for allegedly showing KC Luxury support and admiration when he was not facing legal trouble, but changing their attitude after his arrest.

The social media personality questioned why those who had issues with KC Luxury did not confront or criticise him before his arrest, arguing that many people only became vocal after the development.

Bobrisky also slammed KC Luxury’s friends, emphasizing that close friends should not abandon someone simply because the person has been accused of an offence.

He maintained that condemning a friend’s alleged wrongdoing does not necessarily mean abandoning the person, adding that he would continue to stand by his friends while disapproving of their actions.

Bobrisky further suggested that envy could be behind some people’s reactions, particularly among men, while maintaining that he was not claiming to be KC Luxury’s friend.

He wrote:
"Nigerians are the biggest hypocrites. So many of you have a lot to say about KC Luxury now, but you couldn’t say any of it to his face before he got arrested.”

“Fear human beings o, especially men! If you think men don’t secretly envy each other, then you’re lying to yourself.”

“I’m not his friend, and I don’t follow him, but pretending to love and support someone, only to start speaking badly about them the moment they get arrested, really shows how hypocritical some people.”

“I will never deny any of my friends regardless of his/her offense. I will condemn his act but still stand tall for him or her. I can see some of his friends denying him what a pity!”

“2026 nobody dey get bestie again o.”
KC Luxury was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at Lagos airport on August 13 over his alleged involvement in an international cocaine trafficking network.
