My Family Has Been My Rock Through Scandals And Grief – Davido
Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about the unwavering support his family has provided him through public controversies, personal struggles, and grief.
In an interview with Vibe Q, he credited his brothers, sisters, and father for always being the first to reach out during difficult moments.
Davido recalled how his family stood by him after the tragic loss of his child, staying with him until he was okay.
He noted that they are always happy to see him perform because they know how broken he was during that period. He also emphasized that even on days he doesn't call them, they always check in on him.
He said:
"My family has been the only one helping me through scandals & problems. My brothers & sisters and my father are always the first to call me when something bad happens."
"When I lost my child they stayed with me till I was fine."
