Ghanaian Appointed EBA Ambassador to Ghana and West Africa
Ghana’s youngest and fast-rising CEO Dr. Williams Anarfi Sarpong has been appointed by the Europe Business Assembly (EBA) as the Global Ambassador to Ghana and West Africa.
This was announced at the Socrates Award Ceremony held at the Oxford Town Hall in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Dr. Williams Anarfi Sarpong popularly called Dr. WASK is the Founder & C.E.O of the WASK Group of Companies in Ghana.
The Europe Business Assembly is a multinational research and analytical center of image technologies, PR projects and international cooperation programmes in various spheres of human activity.
The center was founded in 2000 in Oxford (Great Britain). It had founders who were scientists of universities and heads of commercial structures and public organizations of old Europe, who work in close cooperation with colleagues from all continents.
The EBA Business Ambassador award is given for personal achievements in the field of intercultural communications, international cooperation and association of like-minded people.
The distinction is presented to most deserving individuals, participants of projects and programmes of the EBA and its partners as a token of deep respect and recognition for their merits in the development of international partnerships, the globalization of business and the global significance of those contributions.
Dr. WASK is an outstanding charismatic entrepreneur with proven records of success.
WASK Group aims at building strong investment and development networks, both foreign and local of high ranking member society who wish to invest in projects that are geared towards the economic upliftment of Ghana and Africa at large.
His company has three subsidiaries which handles diverse portfolios.
First is TRAMO Ghana which specialises in waste management and recycling of plastics into roofing tiles and pavement blocks; sale and installation of biogas digesters, waste sensitisation training in senior high schools, tertiary institutions and corporate organisations.
Second is the WASK Health Services which also deals in the organisation of Hepatitis B campaign (screening and vaccination) in various institutions, sale of hospital equipment and materials; pharmaceutical production unit and sale of Vida Divina organic products.
Third is the WASK A. Limited, established to deal in infrastructure development, importation and distribution of Agriculture inputs like fertilizer and transport maintenance products such as tyre sealant and engine oil.
As part of his corporate social responsibilities, he has established the WASK Family Foundation and the 10k project.
The WASK Family Foundation, donates food, clothes and money to the needy, widows, orphans, deaf & dumb on quarterly basis.
The 10K project, on the other hand, is a project designed to provide financial support to young entrepreneurs with great innovative ideas but facing financial constraints to make their dreams a reality.
