The War Against Tramadol Abuse - Ghevent Join Forces To Fight Against Tramadol Abuse

Tramadol is the generic name for a prescription pain reliever. It belongs to a class of pain drugs known as OPIATE NARCOTIC ANALGESICS, which work by changing the way one's brain responds to pain.

The abuse of this pain reliever has become rampart among some youth of Ghana. According to some medical experts that GHEVENT.COM spoke to, abusers who continue to take tramadol for a long period at high doses will eventually develop a physical dependence on the drug and experience unpleasant and even more dangerous symptoms such as decreased size of the pupils of the eyes, difficulty in breathing, extreme drowsiness, clammy skin, slow or irregular heartbeat, Seizure and loss of consciousness among others.

These heartbreaking symptoms of its abuse touched the heart of the entire crew of Ghevent and we've decided to join hands with other showbusiness men and women to combat the Abuse of Tramadol.

We therefore call on all and sundry to join our campaign against this canker which is eating deep into the fabric of our Ghanaian youth.
