Jeffrey Nortey Writes: More Than A Tribute (ebony Reigns Tribute)

While Ghana is still mourning the demise of Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in showbiz as Ebony. Spoken word artiste Jeffrey Nortey has added his voice to the many who have eulogized the late dancehall artiste.

Jeffrey Nortey in a piece titled “MORE THAN A TRIBUTE” in memory of Ebony said “ Lord, Can there be an encoure of Lazarus situation, for I feel this soul(Ebony) has a comma, so whats next after this punctuation. We refuse to call you an ancestor. The Pharisees are now calling you a champion. Ride on ebony, what a month to chose to leave,The number of working days in it is the number of existing years you chose to live. ”

Jeffrey Nortey also reflected on the demise of Kwame Owusu Ansah, Suzzy Williams, Terry Bonchaka, Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, and two others, died in a fatal accident, whiles travelling from Sunyani to Accra.
