Ho Gets Four Star Hotel
The Volta Region is gradually living up to its credential as one of the most hospitable areas in Ghana after First Sky Group inaugurated a four-star hotel located in Ho to provide first-class services to businesses, tourists and individuals, among others.
Volta Serene Hotel, which was opened on 17th September, 2015, is specifically located on the Kabakaba Hills in Ho.
It boasts of 72 apartments, including standard rooms, double room chalets, single room chalets, executive apartments and an owner's suit.
Its topography gives visitors the opportunity to experience the panoramic view of Ho.
Volta Serene Hotel, which is a member of the First Sky Group, also has three state-of-the-art conference rooms that can accommodate between 80 and 300 participants.
They are Aseye Executive Board Room, Asogli Conference Hall and Seddy Conference Hall.
The hotel, which was recently inaugurated by the President John Dramani Mahama and dedicated by the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God (AG) Church, Rev. Dr. Frimpong Manso has a world-class swimming pool.
The hotel also has a rooftop bar with the sitting capacity of 150 people and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic juices, drinks, ice cream, cocktails, just to mention a few.
The gourmet restaurant of the hotel can accommodate more than 200 guests and serves both local and continental dishes.
It also has a gym, tennis court, shuttle system, business center and shop.
Chairman of Volta Serene Hotel, Eric Seddy Kutortse, noted that the hotel is poised to provide world-class services to its clients to promote professionalism and excellent customer services.
Mr. Kutortse also assured the general public that the employees of Volta Serene had been carefully selected and trained to provide quality services.
He said that First Sky Group hopes to make more investment in the country.
President Mahama, who together with his wife Lordina unveiled a plaque at the hotel recently, described First Sky Group as one of the best construction firms in the country, adding that it has also reinvested in the country to provide jobs for the youth.
He said Volta Serene Hotel would vigorously contribute to the expansion of the Volta Region, especially since the Eastern Corridor Road is taking shape, among others.
