Letter To Jesus About The Churches

Dear JESUS,

I am extremely privileged and thankful to write to you today when many people think your post office box number has been changed and you don’t reply promptly.

In the first place, I thank you for everything you have done for me, my family, friends, the nation and the world. We are all in adoration thankful to you and your heavenly father(GOD) for such abundant grace. I will also use this opportunity to ask you to forgive me my sins.

Those I deliberately do and those I do unconsciously. Please forgive me and createin me a clean heart.-A heart like yours. Purge my heart and body and let me be free from continuous sins.

Almighty JESUS, YOU are LORD, YOU are GOD, YOU are FAITHFUL, YOU are LORD of LORDS, YOU are the BEGINNING and the END……. ALPHA and OMEGA. ADONAI,ELOHIN, YOU are that YOU are, there is no other than YOU, YOU are OMNIPOTENT, the OMNIPRESENT and the OMNISCIENT. YOU are GOD.

YOU restore hope for theHOPELESS, YOU provide for the NEEDY, YOUR REIGN is ETERNAL. YOU are MIGHTY. Thank you LORD JESUS.

How are Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela and many others who have visited you from here? My best regards to them.

Lord JESUS, I write to inform you about the Church(es). I want to ask you about your opinion on the Churches that spring up overnight. In fact, am not happy and I know equally yourthrone is not happy. Since you see everything beneath your feet, I know you know and see. The Churches are multiplying than the beings that worship in them. I understand you areaware and I need not make a picturesque out of it.

Now the question is…… Are all these pastors who form their Churches through whichever means and making millions out of theirsanctuaries working for you? I need to know for it is mind boggling. I know you know but because you don’t respond promptly to reports, questions, petitions and supplications, Idecided to ask through this medium. People have converted classrooms, homes, parks and every enclosed or open place ideal for worship into your sanctuary. I know there isnothing wrong with that. As your Holy book clearly opined in Exodus 25:18-19, John 4:20 Luke 18:10, Isaiah 27:13, 1 Chronicles 22:1 and many other related verses in the Holy bookthat talks about your sanctuary, I will dwell on that and proceed .

These days I confuse myself with your place of worship to places of drinking,- the practices are similar. I remember a story I grew up to hear in the early 90s when a man went to the drinking bar to drink after leaving your sanctuary and drunk to the brim only to be extremely intoxicated and lost grounds. The ground kept whirling as if it’s that jackpot people spin. Things were rotating ‘ladat’. Only for other drunks to scream…….. “Evil ….evil spirit has entered him…. Let’s pray” and the prayers started. I know you remember that day and the man who did that.

He is still alive oooo. I see him often.

MIGHTY JESUS, Please let me also use this opportunity to write on the mode of worship which you are obviously aware of. There is nothing you are unaware of. I can’t comprehend the way our Churches, sorry….. Your Churches have become. Am afraid, if you want candidates to heaven, you need to look deep down. We are being misled by our leaders. The doctrines have been distorted to meet their pockets, the message has been diluted, and prayers are sold for money. Our women are bathed naked by men of “YOU”, rain water is pumped into cans and sold back to us expensively, our pastors have callously casted ailment on us and we need to consult them at a price before we get healing. What is going on? Please why do you watch unconcerned? Please do something. JESUS, do something.

The most lucrative business these days is establishing a Church. These pastors siphon the little we have all in the name of ‘giving’. Widows who cannot afford a complete meal are cajoled to offer their life savings all in the name of ‘giving’. Everything in the Churches are somewhat life and heaven threatening, I must indicate. I just don’t understand why we should not have one Church as MUSLIMS have a MOSQUE in which they all gather. Last week, I remember you saw me pass by a Church and let me remind you on what happened; that time when everybody was in the Church and all I could hear is “ Fire!….. Fire!!….Fire!!!…. Fire!!!!……” this happened concurrently and it was coupled with clapping, others jumping and parading up and down the building. People were stampeding, shouting the loudest as if the most shout and the carefully selected words will be heard first. Birds were flying off. Dogs and goats were scared and running for their lives and people rushing to the premise to see if the people in there had been trapped and being blazed by fire.

On reaching the building, I saw few women scarfed their heads, some wearing the most provocative dress,- skin-tight and ‘apuskelekum’ wiggling their heavy backs subjecting men behind them who would not close their eyes as a result of their evil thoughts into temptations. A section of the men have put their hands in their pockets instead of folding their arms and giving the much kow-tow, walking up and down the aisle. Others were clapping with their heads down as if they were shortening mosquitoes in the building. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I decided to probe further and the other things I saw couldn’t be described in writings. I was taken aback after discovering all that.

The Book of Rev 13:11 talks about a beast that does wonders. Matthew 7:15-20 clearly ascertains their deeds and warns us against them. - FALSE PROPHETS. Rev 16:13 also painted the picture of the false prophets clearly to us. I ask, as the Bible stated, - on their deeds. Are their powers conjured from unknown places or the Holy Spirit motivates them? These prophets perambulate the country and converting every vacant land and structure into worship centers. They perform MIRACLES, sorry MAGICS. They heal the sick, they cause cancer and heal them, some pay money to people to feign illness and deceive the public out of it. The lame walks, the crippled throw away wheel chairs. Even the dead are animated. Am asking you again and again, these MIRACLES, sorry MAGICS, are they your handiworks?

I will not disturb you so much on the things you are already familiar with, but you said we should ask and through that we will know your incomparable love and grace keeps us existing. I am just reminding you.

I understand you are still in the MIRACLE business. When any issue comes up again, I will not hesitate to write to you. Please don’t forget my supplications, the turmoil I have been through. The devilish pursuance and many economic hardships we are witnessing. Please remember the upsurge in robbery and rituals all over the places. LORD, bless all those who call your name. Make the world know that you are LORD. When we call or write to you, please respond promptly for our enemies make mockery of us…… they ask us” where is your God”? We know you exist and we shall call you all the time.

We thank you for our troubles and those we yet have not had in your holy righteous name………
