The Era Of Loot And Share

I have lately observed that corruption is more dreadful than a civil war. The canker has completely egulfed the entire human race especially in the Ghanaian social, political, cultural and economic life. We must wage a national war against it or we face the dire consequencies.

Ironically, we seems to bark too much without any bite on this uggle enemy which continously eats up our toils day by day. No wonder our development has remained stagnant even with our abundant natural resources.

The recent revelations of the unexpecting judicial corruption allegations clearly vindicate my prelude. It is unimaginably rediculous but heartbreaking to have people who suppose to defend the law, attack the law with impunity. I am very certain the bones of our past committed nationalists cannot have a peaceful rest in the grave.

What indeed is wrong with our minds? Are we not adequately prepared to play critical roles in society or we are simply, mentally substandard?

It is of grave concern how bribery and corruption have ruined this nation, millions of cedis annually.

The complexity of corruption demands that we make a collective effort in exposing and fighting it. We must all listen with rabbit ears and watch with eagle eyes to help win the battle against it. Anas alone as a journalist cannot win us this war. We must change our attitude because no one can do it for us. Even the proliferation of churches across the length and breath of the nation cannot help. Our usual rhetorics can't equally help us out. We must all see to the supreme interest of Ghana and constantly spite out that develish act called bribery and corruption.

Many are those who blame politicians all the time. The public servant now walk behind our shadows amplifying the act with impunity. They wickedly siphon mother Ghana only to put blames on the vulnerable politicians. I think our politicians should use this revelation now to put things to where they belong. We all must be blamed.

Say no to bribery and corruption.
