Rezultz Advertising supports exhibition ‘Muses’
Advertising agency, Rezultz, has given a GH¢1,000 to support the upcoming art exhibition scheduled to take place from December 11 to 18 at Goethe Institut, Accra.
Chief Executive Officer, Rezultz, Joel Nettey said his organisation's love for the arts is undeniable but what made the company support this exhibition is the passion for promoting young and creative talent.
“I am a firm believer in growing and nurturing the talent of the young in society because these young men and women will be society's change makers in a few years. Supporting this exhibition means helping young artists realise their dream.
“Rezultz is full of young, creative, passionate and energetic men and women. These guys are the ones who always churn out the wonderful advertisements heard on radio and seen in the newspapers, billboards and on television,” Mr. Nettey said.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the organisers, Jeremiah Quarshie expressed his appreciation to Resultz for the gesture.
“Getting this exhibition organised is very challenging because a lot of people are not interested in supporting the arts. This money will go a long way to build panels, provide lighting, music and distribute invitiations.” He urged other corporate organisations and individuals to come and support the exhibition.
The eight-day exhibition is aimed at contributing largely to the art history in Ghana. The artists set to showcase their works include Jeremiah Quarshie, Serge Clottey, Bernard Akoi-Jackson, Fatric Bewong, and Nii Odzenma.
The rest are Bright Tetteh Ackwerh, Kelvin Haizel and Elkanah Mpesum, and Constance Swaniker. The exhibition has also received institutional support from the Goethe Institut, Golden Baobab, Nubuke Foundation and Foundation for Contemporary Art.
