Building collapses at Sakaman

A church building at Sakaman, a Suburb of Accra, which is still under construction has caved in, injuring one worker.

Joy News sources say the ultramodern two-storey building belongs to the Grace Society Methodist Church in Sakaman.

Residents in the area who gathered at the scene say this is the third time the building is caving in while it is still under construction.

Eyewitnesses say the two-storey building collapsed into a Lighthouse Chapel compound close to the uncompleted building.

The injured worker has been rushed to the hospital.
