Egypt : The striker Mido put an end to his career
Ahmed Hossam better known by the nickname “Mido” has definitely puts hang up the spikes. The Egyptian striker announced on Tuesday that he was ending his career.
“Today I am announcing my retirement from football. I thank everyone, all those who have supported me throughout my career and especially all my fans, “ he said on his Twitter account.
Aged 30, the striker who has passed especially by OM in 2003-2004 landed in early 2000 in Europe from the Egyptian club Zamalek. Between 1999, the beginning of his career in Zmalek and 2013, the Egyptian international (51 caps) had no fewer than twelve clubs (Zamalek, Gent, Ajax Amsterdam, Celta Vigo, Marseille, Roma, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Wigan, Zamalek, West Ham and Barnsley). His last club has been Barnsley in England, where he brawled with the club's management and was fired in January.
