PRESS CONFERENCE BY HO-ANLOKORDZI BRANCH OF THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC) ON THE TOPIC “THE VICTORY DOVE OF GOD”
Better Ghana Day to you all members of the press herein gathered. I on behalf of the Ho-Anlokordzi Branch of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) welcome you all to this press conference.
We have invited you here today to express to you our opinion on what has happened on Thursday the 30th August,2012 at the special Delegate Congress of the ruling NDC at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Ladies and gentlemen, before we speak on the topic, we will like to use this opportune moment to extend our sincere gratitude to His Excellency Former President JJ Rawlings for accepting and honoring the invitation by attending the Programme. He is indeed a man of integrity who calls “a spade a spade.” We the people of the Volta Region would forever be proud of him.
We are however confident, his presence is a sign of his preparation towards vigorous campaigning to enable the NDC Party retain power come 7th December, 2012.
We would also like to thank the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling NDC for a good work done, most especially the one and only General in the History of Ghanaian Politics Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia who is a friend of the media and always ready to speak for the Party on issues.
Ladies and gentlemen of the press, our last thank goes to the delegates for coming in their numbers to give His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama unprecedented 99.5% of the total vote cast, which we believe is a sign of our preparedness towards victory 2012. God richly bless you all!!!
It is however, worthy to note that, during the programme 'A DOVE” which we strongly believe was sent by God/Allah came to touch the right shoulder of President John Dramani Mahama as a sign of heaven's stamp of confirmation on him as the next President of Ghana come 7th December, 2012.
In the Holy Bible, the dove is the most important bird that has been mentioned. The dove was the first bird, along with the raven, mentioned in the Holy Bible, other than the general reference to fowls in the connection with the creation story; and then the dove is the sacrifice which the poor man brings to Jesus Christ in the Old Testament practice as a sacrifice for his sin. Reference could also be made to Genesis Chapter 8verse 6 down, on the role the dove played during the era of Noah.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is very interesting to note that 'A Dove” symbolizes Purity and Peace, that is why the dove cannot feed on dead flesh and as a matter of fact will have things to do with only people who are pure and peaceful , for example ''President John Dramani Mahama''
As Christians/ Muslims as we are, it is clearly written in the Holy Bible that the Holy Spirit came in the form of a dove. Matthew chapter 3 verse 16 and at the Baptismal Scene of our Saviour Jesus Christ the dove lighted on the shoulder of the Lord Jesus Christ the visible evidence of the Holy Spirit to authenticate Jesus Christ as the chosen one.
The sign of what happened at the Congress is a perfect recall of history and evidence that the good Lord has showered his blessings upon President John Dramani Mahama as the winner in the upcoming Presidential election come 7th December, 2012.
Ladies and gentlemen, we want to offer the good people of this country who do not have the opportunity toview the programme on the television to become aware of the sign of Almighty God and vote massively for His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama come 7th December, 2012 to enable him start the second phase of the BETTER GHANA AGENDA which contains greater opportunities for all Ghanaians irrespective of their religion, education, ethnic group and political affiliations etc.
We are therefore calling on Ghanaians not to be bothered with the lies and concocted stories the NPP might put into the public domain about His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama to win cheap political gains.
It is also good we ignore their empty promises of making SHS free by mentioning GDP to confuse and convince the good people of this country as if they have something good for them.
When during 2007/2008 Nana Akuffo Addo, was a senior member of government under the 'kick back' Kuffour government , they failed to provide feeding grants to SHS schools in the three Northern Regions and the students had to stay home for Six weeks.
