Chief Executive Officer of GTA signs book of condolence

Accra, July 31, GNA – Mr Julius Debrah, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Tourist Authority (GTA), has signed a book of condolence for the late President John Evans Atta Mills at the State House in Accra.

Other dignitaries who signed the book were, Mr Neil Armstrong Mortagbe, FIFA Marketing Instructor, Mr Gordon Sakyi, a retired educationist, Ghana Association of Comedians and the Pan African Diaspora Coalition of Ghana.

Mr Debrah said the death of the President was a shock to the fraternity because he was a man of peace, humble and tolerant.

He said the country had lost a great leader, who was committed to the development and progress of the country, and that his death should be a lesson for all Ghanaians.

Mr Debrah expressed his sympathy to the widow, Mrs Ernestina Naadu Mills, the family and the people of Ghana.

Mr Mortagbe said the late President was a leader, who enhanced the pace of development and his contributions to sports was unfathomable in view of his role in the building of the national hockey pitch and as a Member of the Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club.
