Former GBA President criticises AG's dep't on prosecutions
Former President of the Ghana Bar Association
A former President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Samuel Okudzeto has sharply criticised the Attorney Generals Department for lack of diligence in prosecuting cases.
He says the Attorney General is losing all of its high profile cases because of his woeful failure to adequately prepare before going to court.
Mr. Okudzeto was speaking to Joy News at a Remembrance Day Church Service held in honour of the three justices who were murdered on June 30, 1982 during the PNDC regime.
“It's not Ghana that is losing the cases; it's the Atorney General who is losing the cases. They (AG's department) don't prepare well, and then they are also frivolous,” he said.
