Two key performers of the national U-20 national soccer side the Black Princesses have been thrown out of the team's camp.

The duo, skipper Priscilla Sahene and Deborah Afriyie were barred from joining their colleague in camp after reporting late for camping at the Mariset Hotel last Friday.

According to Ghana Football Association (GFA) technical director Francis Oti Akenteng, they reported many hours late on the evening of the day of camping.

'The matter was reported to the team's coach who had travelled, and he issued out instructions that the two be thrown out for defying the team's rules,' he said in an interview on Happy FM.

'I believe it was a good disciplinary measure the coach took; it will serve as a deterrent to the rest of the players,' added coach Akenteng.

He however said should the two show gross remorse, the team will welcome them to its fold.

The Princesses are in camp putting their house in order ahead of their World Cup second leg qualifier against their South African counterparts in Accra.

The Princesses held the South African to a 1-1 drawn game in the first tie barely a fortnight ago.
