NATURE OF OUR CONTAFRIKAFAMILY
NATURE OF OUR TRUE CONTAFRIKAFAMILY or WHY CONTINENTAL AFRIKAFAMILY IS THE WORLD'S FIRST HUMAN FAMILY ON EARTH FOR ALL CONTINENTAL/DIASPORA AFRIKANS TO REDISCOVER,
By (c) 2012 by Prof. Afrikadzata Deku, Docteur d'Etat; Doctorat d'Etat (PhD); AFRIKALION@AOL.COM;
The Continental Afrikan concept of extended family, on the other hand, makes you generous, open, receptive, and people-oriented.
Because you are born into a big family, you are taught how to accept, love, trust, respect and believe in yourself and all the people in your lives.
The more families you are exposed to, the more you learn how to share yourself and possessions with them.
And the more you share with them what you are blessed with, the more you have.
The more you are surrounded by members of different families and people you love and care for, the more secured, the more loved, the more needed and more respected and appreciated you will feel.
This means the Continental Afrikan concept of extended family offers us more options, more people, more love, more positive environment of checks and balances, more values to choose from and more blessings to enjoy.
In an extended family you get the feeling of security that the nucleus family cannot offer.
Because you know you always have more than a father to rely on for help, understanding and love.
You know if for any reason your parents do not like you or mistreat you, you will always have a home with any members of your extended family.
They will be too glad and feel honored to treat you as their kids. And because of that, parents treat their kids very well.
They are constantly in loving competition with other members of their extended families in terms of showing their affection to their kids.
The child is therefore surrounded by warm and positive loved ones who are interested in his/her growth, progress and welfare in life.
This explains why in Traditional Continental Afrikan societies throughout Continental Afrika, there is nothing like Foster Child Home, Abused children,
shelter, Fatherless child, motherless child, orphan, etc. because the extended family provides home to those without homes, food to the hungry, love to those in need of love, father to those without fathers, mother to those without mother, grand-parents to those without them, advice, support and love to each other
