Chad president reappoints prime minister

N'DJAMENA (AFP) - Chad's President Idriss Deby Itno has reappointed Emmanuel Nadingar as the central African nation's prime minister, state radio said on Saturday.
Nadingar had tendered his resignation Wednesday, a procedural move following the swearing in of Deby for a fourth term.
"The president of the republic (and) head of state declares that Emmanuel Nadingar is prime minister, head of government," a presidential statement broadcast on state radio said.
Deby won nearly 84 percent of the vote in the April 25 elections, which were boycotted by the opposition. He has ruled Chad since 1990 although the opposition criticises his hold on power.
He was sworn in on Monday.
