Zenith Bank introduces 'Church Premium Account'
Zenith Bank has introduced a premium product to serve the needs of churches 24/7 across its branches nationwide.
The product is known as 'Zenith Church Premium Account', and it is an investment account designed and repackaged as credit facility service for Christian religious bodies for assets purchases and construction.
The move, according to officials of the bank is to put smiles on the faces of Christians religious bodies as Zenith celebrate its fifth anniversary in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with The Chronicle, at the bank's 5th anniversary health walk and Aseda grand draw in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Daniel Asiedu observed that the achievement of the bank was as a result of hard work and innovative products and services, which are competitive and robust to meet the demands of its clientele in the banking industry.
According to him, the introduction of 'Zenith Church Premium Account' is based on the needs and demands of the churches in the country.
The CEO noted that the 'Zenith Church Premium Account' would avail the opportunity to churches not to struggle through their developmental projects such as constructions, refurbishments and purchasing of equipments.
Mr. Asiedu added 'At the same time churches have all night, tithe offering, collections and fund raising (harvest) which these monies are able to get to the bank the following day. We will be there to offer them secured services of keeping their monies safe by picking it with our vans to the bank without any problems.'
The CEO further disclosed that, the bank would be offering visa cards to the churches that do business with his outfit. This, he said would allow them to transact any form of business anywhere in the world.
The introduction of the 'Zenith Church Premium Account', according to the CEO, was based on a research his outfit conducted.
He expressed the belief that the new product will further enhance the banking industry. Two additional products were launched at the Aseda grand draw.
