PHC Motors Offers Free Diagnostic Services

PHC MOTORS has organized a one-day free diagnostic clinic for owners of Land Rover vehicles.

The company, which deals in assorted vehicles like Land Rover, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, TAT A and BMC, organized the diagnostic clinic to “educate owners and drivers of Land Rover on the basic maintenance and road safety tips since the brand is quite sophisticated.

“It will also provide the platform for customers to engage with sales and after-sales personnel,” it noted.

In an interview with CITY & BUSINESS GUIDE, Kaiser Abrahams, Customer Services Manager at PHC Motors, said the diagnostic clinic would be used to profile Land Rover vehicles to satisfy the needs of customers.

He added that the programme demonstrates the company's commitment to providing customers with a total transport experience, as well as to fulfill its promise of delivering timely and affordable services.

He said this was not the first time PHC Motors is embarking on such an exercise.

“It is a quarterly event because on a daily basis our customer base keeps growing, and there's the need to understand and know their needs and expectations,” he noted.

Mr. Abrahams said the Land Rover vehicles would officially be launched in Kumasi and all out-stations across the country.

He indicated that the vehicles of 45 customers would be diagnosed.

Some customers expressed their gratitude to PHC motors for the free diagnostics clinic and hoped that the exercise would continue.

PHC Motors Limited has been at the heart of the motor industry in Ghana since 1968.

Over the years, the company has operated under the names of Leyland motors, Leyland def and Land Rover Ghana.

In 1998, the company's minority shareholders, the Peperas entered into share purchase negotiations with the majority shareholders -Leyland Def of Einhover, Holland.

These negotiations were successful and the Peperas acquired the majority shares in the company and renamed the company PHC Motors Limited in 1993.

It became one of the few motor companies in Ghana to be solely owned and operated by Ghanaians.

Presently, PHC Motors Limited has commissioned six service centers in five regions to meet the needs of its customers in Tarkwa, Sunyani, Tamale, Koforidua, Takoradi and Ho.

The diagnostic exercise was also used to display the latest Land Rover vehicles on the Ghanaian market.
