'I'm Not Guilty'
Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, was expected to plead guilty yesterday when he was arraigned on involuntary manslaughter charges ... sources tell TMZ.
According to the entertainment website the plan was for Dr. Murray to arrive at the courthouse 20 - 30 minutes before the arraignment – where he will surrender voluntarily.
Law enforcement sources said 20 L.A. County Sheriff's deputies were expected to storm the courthouse, some of whom will be in uniform and others in mufti. The Sheriff's Department has had its security plan in place for a while, in part because of crowd control concerns and partly because of security issues surrounding Dr. Murray.
According to information there is a security concerns about Dr. Murray's safety because of intense feeling on the part of some Michael Jackson fans that Dr. Murray killed the singer.
Dr. Murray will be accompanied by a bail bondsman who will post bail -- expected to be $25,000. Our sources say Dr. Murray will not waive his right to a preliminary hearing.
Murray was seen last Saturday at the most unlikely location, Michael Jackson's burial place. Murray showed up at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon to visit the tomb of the man he may or may not have accidentally killed.
Murray was seen outside the mausoleum, but not inside.
