Bishop asks Ghanaians not to take God's Mercy and loving kindness for granted

Koforidua, Jan. 1, GNA-The Anglican Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Francis Benjamin Quashie, on Thursday asked Ghanaians not to take the mercies and loving kindness of God towards the country for granted.

He therefore called on the people to back the blessing of God with hard work and peaceful co-existence so as to continue to enjoy His goodness and mercies during the new year.

Bishop Quashie made the call when he conveyed his new year message during an interaction with media personnel in the Koforidua Municipality.

He called on those charged with the responsibility of implementing the single spine salary structure and the new pension scheme to work diligently to ensure that Ghanaian workers enjoy better living standards.

He called on Ghanaians to thank God for what he had done for the country and for them as individuals, as they move into the new year.
