GHANA are considering testing their might against Malawi before the four-time champions open their challenge for the Africa Cup in Angola early next year.
A source hinted DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is currently in talks with their counterparts from Malawi in an effort to play a friendly match with them.
He said so far the talks look fruitful and the Black Stars who begin camping on December 27, 2009, might face Malawi on January 3, 2010 before heading straight to Angola for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will invite only 23 players for camping ahead of next January's Africa Cup of Nations finals in Angola.
The Serbian wants to end the perennial post-selection acrimonious talks after players are dropped from a pool of invited players for a major competition.
Thus players invited for the team's camping camp in Nelspruit, South Africa starting 27 December will automatically represent Ghana at the Nations Cup.
