Public Lecture: IDEG on role of women in policy formulation
The public lecture by the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG) comes off on November 26, 2009.
The Ghana Speaks lecture will discuss the topic; Gendering Policy in Africa: Women as a Critical Resource in Institutional Transformation.
Organisers say the lecture will promote deliberations and dialogue among key stakeholders and interest groups and the public on concerns, challenges and prospects for gender consideration in public policy.
It will also encourage interaction between state-non-state actors on gender and public policy in Ghana and Africa at large.
The lecture is in association with the African Women's Development Fund (AWDF).
The venue is Alisa Hotel, North Ridge at 3:00 pm.
