GIPC to attract investment in green economy

The move is to reduce emission of gases, which fuel climate change to ensure the sustainability of the business environment in the country.
NI is a global network of leaders who are concerned about changing the world through environmentally sustainable business practice.
More than 2000 participants drawn from the academia, corporate organisations and donor agencies are attending the two-day conference on the theme: "Advancing Sustainable Global Enterprise, Change Makers, Innovators and Problem solvers."
It will be addressed by renowned speakers such as Mr Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman and Chief Executive of General Electric, Mr John Brock, Chairman and Chief Executive of Coca Cola Enterprise including a host of Chief Executive Officers who were members of Fortune 500 Companies.
Mr Dela Gadzanku, President of NI Ghana chapter who briefed the Ghana News Agency said the GIPC, was for the first time, attending the conference to make a case for massive investment into the country's green economy
He said the GIPC endorsed the NI Ghana chapter's campaign for corporate bodies to implement environmentally friendly projects to ensure sustainability of the environment.
