Other people, who were preparing to start their business at about 0900 hours rushed back into their houses. Wednesday is a market day in Bawku.
He said the suspects were in Police Custody for further investigations and would be dealt with drastically if found culpable. He warned those who were engaged in the violence to stop since the security men would not countenance such acts.
He commended the security agencies for the swift manner in which they acted to put the situation under control and appealed to them to continue with their good work.
