GHAFTRAM express regrets

The Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Associations, GHAFTRAM, has apologized to the Chief Executive of the Food and Drug Board, Dr. Stephen Opuni, following an interview the National Organizer of GHAFTRAM, Nana Kwadwo Obiri, granted the New Crusading Guide.

The interview created a furore between Nana Kwodwo Obiri and the FDB boss.

A statement signed by the President of GHAFTRAM, Agya Kwaku Appiah said, the story was not to tarnish the image of Dr. Opuni but to advocate the reduction in the increment of registration, inspection and advertisement fees of the FDB.

GHAFTRAM said it is sorry for what it called the personalization of the publication.

The statement said, GHAFTRAM believes that its long standing relationship with the FDB will continue to blossom for their mutual benefit.
