GNCCI To Partner Isreali Firms
The President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Wilson Atta Krofah, has said local businesses are ready to do business with Israeli companies that would ensure the transfer of technology to Ghana.
Speaking at a meeting with the visiting Israeli Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Avigdor Liberman and members of his delegation, Mr Krofah said the chamber would offer full co-operation to Israeli businesses that would want to invest in the country.
The Isreali Deputy Prime Minister was in Ghana for a two-day visit to explore bilateral co-operation with the country.
Mr Krofah who was recently elected Vice President of the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce promised the Israeli business delegation of the chamber’s open door policy to all legitimate businesses and advocacy for the promotion and enhancement of both local and foreign businesses, a function the Chamber conceives as a duty to contribute to national development.
The President of the Chamber also reiterated the continuous and healthy interaction between the Chamber and Government to promote business in Ghana.
He stated that there were tremendous business opportunities in the agricultural, ICT, Water and Infrastructure development sectors.
“Quality human capital, low cost of labour, stable political and economic environment and government support for the private sector are some advantages Ghana offers for Israeli investors”, he stated.
