A Humble African Letter To President Barack Obama 'what Wrong Have We Done The World?'
Your Excellency,
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO GHANA
With all due respect to your office and pride in your person, I, a great admirer of yours, wish in the Name Of God Almighty and Mother Africa, and under the banner of human morality and the true principles of democracy in the American Constitution, to write this very humble letter to Your Excellency on behalf of the 22million 'voiceless' Ghanaians and the 800million 'voiceless' Africans; 90 democratic percent of whom DO NOT NEED and WILL NEVER NEED an “AFRICOM” or American Imperial Defense Site(AIDS) in Africa. Sorry Sir for this strong expression.
Sir, this has been a very contested and troubling issue that has touched the sensibilities of many Ghanaians and Africans and people of peace around the world, who(except those who are truly not honest, peaceful and humane) have all seen NO NEED whatsoever for the establishment of an “AFRICOM” anywhere in Africa.
Sir, the reason for this general feeling, regardless even of any “justification” and “necessity” is not far-fetched. For 500years from 1455 “until” 1957, Europe, America, Arabia and all the world, took Africa and Africans into the most monstrous and most unimaginable and most sinful slavery and man's inhumanity to man in the history of human existence, for no single reason but the evil notion that our colour was “inferior”. And from 1455 until now, 2009, African minds, stomachs and the seas and earth under our feet, are all still enslaved and embondaged, for no reason than the evil notion of the “inferiority of our colour. And all thinking Africans are still wondering and asking: WHAT WRONG DID WE DO THE WORLD?.
In 1885, in Berlin, where Your Excellency went recently and gave hope to all the world including Africans, the whole Africa's map, physically and plainly, was put onthe table for the rest of the world to “share the cake”; and all the world especially Europe and America, have built their cities and lives on the back of African humans and African resources, leaving Africans poor and hungry and wretched and sick, for no reason than the evil notion of the “inferiority of our colour”. WHAT WRONG DID WE DO THE WORLD?.
In this great year 2009, and with this great African in this great White House and this most important and most remarkable time in the history of human justice, please think and consider Sir, if after all the pain that Africans have suffered and still suffering, for doing nothing wrong and committing no offence against Europe, America and the rest of the world, whether you want to put us more deep into suffering, and consecrate that by this visit to Ghana, the land of Africa's Freedom and Justice, with an unlawful and totally unwanted Millitary Complex. We don't mind any business with yours and any country. Gold, Diamonds,OIL , Bauxite, Cocoa, Timber, Yams, even Tuo Zaafi and Akpeteshie, “idei”; we will sell any amount to you and any willing buyer if you want; but we don't need “AFRICOM”, so PLEASE don't sell it to us Sir; and don't also give it to us.
Your Excellency, with due respect, how could you have 'New dialogue with the Muslim World', 'New Partnership with Europe', 'Constructive engagement with China and Asia', 'Old friendship with Israel', 'talking with Iran and North Korea', 'New Regional Intergration with Canada and South America' and 'New friendship with Bo the animal and his animal family, etc., etc and have only MILLITARISATION and NEO-COLONISATION for we Africans who have fathered Your Excellency?. WHAT WRONG HAVE WE DONE THE WORLD?. And for America itself the facts are clear: NO PEOPLE have labored, carried the burden, shed Blood and tears, and died for America and made it the great nation that it is today than we Africans, so let not America reward our suffering with further suffering. And with all due respect, lets face it Sir, very morally-speaking, how can you be closing GITMO inGuantanamo which you own, and be opening “AFRICOM” in Africa which you don't own and where it is not welcome by the people?.
Sir, As you go through the dungeons of “Elmina Castle”(I know you can't help tears), please pause a minute and consider two things: (a) consider yourself as if a slave who has justbeen brought there to be shipped through it to America, and (b) consider yourself as if a slave master who is there to ship Africans through it to America. And see, Mr President, if you can choose any of them, and therefore whether there is any justification and even need for you to add us another slavery called “AFRICOM”.HAVEN'T SUFFERED ENOUGH ALREADY?
Your Excellency, I attach right below here, a letter I wrote to you during your electoral campaign, through the great, admirable, unique and very special sister, your wife Michelle Obama, The First Lady, in its exact form, which says it all more than this letter I am writingToday . The letter was as follows:
Her Excellency
Mdm. Michelle Obama
C/o Senator Barak Obama
Office of The Hon Senator
Chicago, Illinois
February 11th, 2008
Your Excellency, The Next First Lady of the USA God-Willing.
May this meet you and His Excellency and your family all in good health blessed by God Almighty.
I am an African Research Student, visitor to the USA. This is my third letter to you.
The first was early in March last year, the second when you were in New Hampshire.
I have followed the campaign for some months now, and have been extremely impressed about the Hon. Senator's jewel-uniqueness, outstandingness and God-made-ness; and as the best to be the next President of the USA. I have the Honest belief that if the Hon. Senator were to assume the mantle of presidency of the USA, there is no doubt that he would bring it and the world the much-needed New World Order, peace and security, Justice, happiness and the meaning to life which God Almighty desired for the humankind. He is the staff(of rescue) that Moses bore, a rare gazelle whose pasture for American and human dignity is the sky.
In him, the USA and the world have one great opportunity to be reborn again, or else weaken more.
With God's Power, America has not seen the best of him yet, and the world also has not seen the best of him yet. He would change America and the humanity, more positively towards peace and human dignity. Take more care of him, and add him more protection. He is a UNIVERSAL MAN.
I cannot afford, but I can only sacrifice, so I send you the enclosed $10 bill for the Senator's campaign, with prayers to God Almighty that may He Protect him, and make him the next President of the USA. Amen.
I have a small request to the Senator (if the Senator Wins in God's Name) on behalf of my African people, under the umbrella and intercession of the following:
- God and His Holy Scriptures
- Justice and Human Dignity
- World Peace
- The United Nations Charter
- The Souls of Lincoln, Adams, Jefferson, Du Bois, Kennedy, Wilberforce, Dr King, Sg. Shriver, Malcom X , Garvey, Nkrumah, Ghandi, Mandela etc.,
Please Mr. President(may you become),
PLEASE DO NOT
put military bases on my Land or militarize it or accomplice or support anyone else to do so. My people, the wretched of the earth, have suffered so much and do not need more suffering.
PLEASE SIR, DO NOT MAKE OUR BLOOD AND TEARS YOUR LEGACY.
Thank you,
May God Almighty make him the next President of America and the 21st Century
Lincoln to the World.
Amen.
Yours Faithfully,
Zuut Tut Tugri of Africa
Finally Sir, the question is Whether you can come to Ghana and Africa, to visit us and also (it is said) to establish an “AFRICOM”, and decide in Ghana NOT TO implement it and go back to America without implementing it because all Ghanaians and all Africans and most good Americans DO NOT approve of it?. And the answer is: YES, YOU CAN.
I humbly end my letter here with the following great quotes from the following great merciful leaders . May God Almighty Bless you and protect you and your family, and put His Most Merciful Hand of Mercy on you throughout your rule. May He make it two great and successful terms for you. GOD BLESS YOU. GOD BLESS AFRICA. GOD BLESS AMERICA. We Love You So Much, but WE THE PEOPLE, OF GHANA AND LIBERIA, AND ALL AFRICA, WE DON”T NEED THE “AFRICOM”. PEACE TO THE WORLD !.
