KASS marks 35th Anniversary
THE KUMASI Anglican Senior High School (KASS), one of the upgraded model schools in the Kumasi metropolis, has observed its Second Speech and Prize-giving Day, to mark the 35th Anniversary of its founding, under the theme: Enhancing Academic Excellence through Infrastructural Development.
Nana Agyewodin Adu Gyamfi Ampem, Omanhene of Akyerensua, who represented the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, commended the government for the immense support to the school, and assured further support from the Otumfuo Education Fund.
The Headmaster, Rev. Canon. E. Y. Brobe-Mensah said the school, which was physically handicapped five years ago, was now relishing in infrastructural development.
He commended the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for the construction of a 140-foot mechanized borehole, which serves as a major source of water for the school.
Rev. Brobe-Mensah appealed to the government, to make funds available for the completion of staff accommodation, initiated by the PTA.
