SA roll over Mozambique in AFCON warm-up
Sibusiso Zuma marked his 60th senior cap with a fine goal as South Africa warmed up for the MTN Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 win over regional neighbours Mozambique in Durban on Sunday.
After wasting a glut of scoring chances, South Africa finally broke the deadlock just past the hour mark when Zuma fired home a crisp left-footed shot from a tight angle.
Substitute Lerato Chabangu added a second from close range in injury time, as the hosts wrapped up a somewhat difficult win against their defensive opponents, the best movers on FIFA?s world rankings for 2007.
South Africa have a further warm up match in Durban on Wednesday against Botswana, before flying out to Ghana for the Nations Cup finals.
