Could Mahama’s Mirror Image Be Donald Trump, The MAGA-Train Driver? - Part 2
It is not clear to any deep-thinking bona fide Ghanaian citizen or resident, precisely what he means when an apparently cornered President John Dramani Mahama defensively asserts that his putatively foremost agitator and propaganda “flack jacket” or hack, Mr. Kevin B. Taylor “was a member of the NPP,” and that the latter has, presumably, on several occasions “shown his NPP [ID] Card on his [“Loud Silence” Podcast] program”; and also that “he has fallen out with the NPP because of disappointment” (See “ ‘I Don’t Know Kevin Taylor, I Will Speak to His Father to Stop Him from Insulting People’ - Mahama Tells Clergy” Modernghana.com 9/23/26).
Now, the preceding logically dispersed quotes are strikingly reminiscent of the then-Candidate Mahama’s downright mischievous denial and dissociation of himself from the then Mahama-appointed Presidential Staffer, namely, Mr. Samuel Nartey George - aka Sam George - in the wake of the firestorm fallout from the latter’s morally untenable verbal assault on a wheelchair-bound Mr. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, at the time the Presidential Candidate of the Rump-Convention People’s Party (R-CPP), during the Kumasi-hosted National Democratic Congress’ National Delegates’ Conference in December 2014, during which event an officially invited Guest-Speaker and Candidate Greenstreet was caustically attacked by Ghana’s current Minister of Communications for daring to suggest that the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress was a party of self-absorbed robber-barons who were primarily fixated on sharing the collective wealth of the country among themselves, with little regard for the general wellbeing of the citizens of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana at large.
To Mr. Greenstreet’s smack-on-target analysis of the bleak economic situation in the country, verging on a veritable season of acute desperation and anomie, Sam George would accuse Mr. Greenstreet of being too physically stunted to be able to espy “the great and yeomanly achievements” of then-Interim President Mahama all over the land. Not the least bit surprisingly, we see the same deployment of strategic disingenuousness in play here. Trust me, Dear Reader, Mr. Taylor could very well be named Ghana’s next Ambassador to the United States or even Ghana’s Ambassador or Chief Delegate to The United Nations in the offing. As already adumbrated above, the preceding “orphan quotes” are clearly open to several interpretations none of which resonates in favor of the prime newsmaker, namely, President John “Which Payola Package Are You Talking About?” Dramani Mahama.
The first of these interpretations has to do with the glaringly unarguable fact that, in fact, contrary to what The Yagbonwura, The Ballot-Snatching Kwame Gonja, of Bole-Bamboi, in the Akufo-Addo-created Savannah Region, would have the rest of us, the General Global Ghanaian Community believe, the President is a sedulous and a studious and an avid viewer of the Kevin Taylor-streamed “Loud Silence” off-the-hip or from-the-hip discharge of his relentless barrage of intemperate vitriol, almost invariably and gratuitously targeted at and/or against his political and ideological opponents who are often exclusively members and key operatives of either one of Ghana’s two major political parties, namely, the presently ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), on the one hand, and the country’s presently main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), as well as the perceived surrogate and allied splinter or minor political parties, such as the NDC-allied Rump-Convention People’s Party (R-CPP) and the NPP-allied United Ghana Movement (UGM).
Which is why the former Member of Parliament (MP) for the West-Gonja Constituency, in the Old Northern Region, would so smugly and earnestly emphasize the fact that Mr. Taylor had once been a member of the New Patriotic Party before expediently and/or conveniently crossing the metaphorical carpet to become a fanatical propaganda shill or a salaried hack - has been widely speculated and alleged by some of his opponents and detractors - to become the Chief Propaganda Megaphone (CPM) for the Mahama and the Gonja Mafia-cannibalized and the Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings-founded National Democratic Congress.
Unfortunately, this kind of subterfuge does not get Mr. Mahama very far in the primitive and the garish game of disingenuous mendacity, especially when one also reckons the unarguable fact that prior to their recent highly suspicious deaths via the China-made Harbin Z-9EH Military Helicopter Crash on August 6, 2025, if memory serves Yours Truly accurately, both Dr. Edward Kofi Omane-Boamah, at the time of his grisly mid-morning death the Mahama-appointed Minister of Defense; and, of course, Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, the then Mahama-appointed Minister of the Environment, Science and Technology, had been political and ideological crossovers - some of their most ardent and inveterate critics might even describe these two early middle-age men as “opportunistic turncoats” - had defected, respectively, from the New Patriotic Party and the Rump-Convention People’s Party.
Well before their bonfire “roast beef” deaths, at least one of the pair, namely, Dr. Omane-Boamah, had been caustically lambasted by Mr. Samuel Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho, the former Atta-Mills’ Presidential Communications Director, as an opportunistic fast-climbing outsider who had joined the NDC well after the main course of the party’s political meal or banquet menu had been fully prepared, and rudely insisted on being seated at the head of the table, and then recklessly demanded to be dished the first full-plate of dinner, while those who had actually forked up the wherewithal that was used in preparing the sumptuous dinner were callously left in the lurch or sitting on both hands.
My Dear Brother Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho did not specifically name Dr. Ibrahim “The Scarface” Murtala Mohammed, but the import of the implicit extended simile or allusion could not have been lost on any avid spectator of the “Dog-Eat-Dog” NDC’s internal political culture. Which is also why Yours Truly, furnished with a few strikingly and forensically telling details, such as the premeditated and theatrically coincidental reasons for why at least three of the most significant prescheduled party Bigwigs who ought to have been seated on the Doomsday Helicopter, including President John Dramani Mahama, together with the aforementioned two slain “party outsiders,” makes one rock with sinister chortle when the entire clearly staged “Accident According to Plan” is comically chalked up as a veritable act of sheer natural misfortune or disaster.
There will be hell a la Shakespearean poetic justice to pay down the road. The Dear Reader should mark Yours Truly’s words: for as the great and genius Bard-of-Avon had one of his one of his most memorable characters declare imperiously, “Blood Will Have Blood!” But what I even more forcefully wanted to add here is the Reverse Biblical Revelation of the fact that: “Anybody who claims to be on bona fide terms with Father Taylor, that is, the Chieftain Father of Mr. Kevin Baidoo Taylor, ought to also perforce be on bona fide terms with Sonny Taylor.” There can never be any two ways about this philosophical and metaphysical truism. But here, too, as in the past and previous instances and innumerable circumstances, it is Kevin Taylor who needs to studiously watch his back and not facilely and cavalierly suppose that it is wholly about his votive slain neighbors rather than himself.
You see, once you are publicly marked down and/or branded as a “crossover” and/or an “Outsider,” you ought to already know that you are both a traitor and a turncoat. You cannot be trusted, not even by the proverbial Chinaman’s Chance. Now, what is this crap about telling the father of a middle-age man to slam the brakes on the widely perceived insufferable obnoxiousness of a man who has long declared his deathly preference for a Trump-Complected Pork Over an Obama-Inflected Veal? Go figure, Kojo Brokeman!!!
