Naturopath Kwame Okrah and Naturopath Cindy Boakye Emerge as Top Performers in India Clinical Training
Kalaburagi, India — Naturopath Kwame Okrah and Naturopath Cindy Boakye have emerged as the top performers in an intensive semester clinical training programme in Naturopathy, Ayurveda and Yoga in India.
The two Ghanaian practitioners received special honours during the closing ceremony after distinguishing themselves through strong clinical performance, discipline, practical competence, professionalism and commitment to learning.
The programme was jointly organised by Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine, Ghana, and Arujiva Ayurveda and Naturopathy Hospital, India, under a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.
Excellence in an Intensive Clinical Programme
Okrah and Boakye were part of a pioneering cohort of 16 Ghanaian naturopathic practitioners who travelled to India for a structured semester of clinical education and assessment. The programme combined theoretical instruction, hands-on clinical practice, patient observation and professional evaluation.
Participants received exposure to Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, nutrition, lifeclass interventions and integrative patient care. Their training covered clinical assessment, case-taking, naturopathic therapeutic procedures, Ayurvedic principles and practices, yoga techniques and approaches to lifeclass-related health conditions.
The clinical immersion also included practical exposure to hydrotherapy, mud therapy, massage, fasting therapy, nutrition, colon hydrotherapy, laboratory procedures and other natural and integrative healthcare approaches.
Against this demanding background, Okrah and Boakye demonstrated consistency and competence, earning them recognition as the programme’s leading performers.
