Navrongo Police Command hails Kastone Records over headquarters renovation

The Navrongo Divisional Police Command has applauded Kastone Records for renovating its headquarters office, describing the gesture as a timely and generous intervention that has transformed the facility.

Speaking at a short handing-over ceremony, the Divisional Police Commander, ACP Daniel Anane Amoah, disclosed that the Command had for a long time sought support to rehabilitate the office but had recorded little success until Kastone Records, led by its Managing Director, Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, stepped in.

"We have been seeking for support from several quarters, but all our efforts kept failing," ACP Amoah said. "Fortunately, Kastone Records came to our aid. We initially thought it was going to be just a financial support, not knowing they were going to renovate the entire facility for us."

The Divisional Commander expressed profound gratitude to the company on behalf of his outfit and assured that the newly renovated office would be put to good use in service of the Navrongo and it's surrounding Districts.

"On behalf of my men and I, I say a very big thank you to Kastone Records. We promise to put this facility into good use," he added.

Development Is A Shared Responsibility

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Kastone Records, Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, said the renovation formed part of the company's commitment to community development, noting that every institution and individual has a role to play in improving the community in which they live.

"We all live in a community, and development must be a shared responsibility," Mr Aborah stated.

He described the police institution as strategic and crucial to the wellbeing of every community, and called on residents to extend cooperation and support to the police in the discharge of their duties.

"The police institution is strategic and crucial to our safety, and that is why community members must support and cooperate with them to achieve their goals," he explained.

Mr Aborah further noted that the very existence of the police service is tied to the citizens it serves, stressing that officers work to protect the lives and property of the people.

"It is because of the citizens that the police are working. Their work is to protect lives and property," he emphasised.

Support Police Emotionally

The Kastone Records boss used the occasion to appeal to community members to go beyond material support and also support the police emotionally, explaining that officers require peace of mind to perform effectively.

"Community members should support the police emotionally too," he said. "When they don't have peace of mind, their work becomes very difficult, and they cannot concentrate to do their work."

The renovated headquarters is expected to boost staff morale and improve the Command's operational capacity in Navrongo and its environs.
