Employee allegedly caught on CCYV stealing baking ingredients from warehouse after closing

An employee of Resco Catering Services, located at Lashibi Shalom Spot in the Greater Accra Region, has allegedly been caught on CCTV removing baking ingredients from the company’s warehouse after closing hours.

According to the owner of the catering service, the incident came to light after she reviewed CCTV recordings from the premises and noticed the worker returning to the warehouse after the business had closed for the day.

The footage allegedly captured the worker entering the warehouse and removing several items belonging to the company.

Among the items reportedly taken were yeast, flour, cooking oil and baking powder, as well as other baking ingredients stored in the warehouse.

The worker is said to have packed the items into his bag before allegedly attempting to leave the premises.

The owner explained that she became suspicious of her employee after reviewing the surveillance footage and noticing the worker’s movements inside the warehouse at a time when he was not expected to be on the premises.

The CCTV recording is now being cited as evidence of the alleged incident, as the company seeks to establish exactly what was taken and the circumstances surrounding the worker’s presence at the warehouse after closing.
