NSA sets September 1 final deadline for students to resolve biodata mismatches
The National Service Authority (NSA) has given students affected by biodata mismatches until Tuesday, September 1, to resolve the issues and complete their National Service registration.
The Authority said the extension is the final opportunity for prospective National Service Personnel who have been unable to complete their registration because of discrepancies in their personal details.
In a statement dated August 26, the authority said it would work with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to facilitate the rectification process for affected students.
“This is the absolute final opportunity for affected National Service Personnel to resolve biodata mismatches, complete any outstanding affidavit and Gazette processes, have their records corrected and aligned, and complete their National Service registration," the statement read in part.
The NSA urged affected students to report to its headquarters in Accra on or before the deadline with all relevant original documents.
These include their Ghana Card, affidavit, Gazette publication and other supporting documents required to facilitate the correction of their records.
The Authority said students who have already completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected must also report to the NSA Headquarters.
“The NSA therefore urges all students who are yet to resolve their biodata mismatch issues, as well as those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report to NSA Headquarters without delay and no later than the extended deadline of 1st September 2026," it added.
According to the NSA, once the necessary corrections have been made and the records duly aligned, affected students will be able to proceed with their National Service registration.
