Alagumgube swears in executives ahead of second anniversary celebration
The Alagumgube Association has sworn in its newly constituted executive leadership as part of activities marking its second anniversary celebration.
The ceremony, which brought together members and supporters of the association, also saw the formal adoption of the constitution of Alagumgube, providing a framework to guide the organisation’s operations, leadership and activities.
Dr Lawyer Apaamoore Agambila administered the oath of office to the executives, charging them to uphold the values and objectives of the association and work collectively to advance the interests of its members.
Dr Francis Maltiby was sworn in as the Global Chairman, while Rev. Nat Awuni assumed the position of Vice Chairman.
Other executives sworn into office were Clothilda Awae as Treasurer, Diana Mbah as Secretary, and Francisca Mbom as Public Relations Officer (PRO).
The leadership is expected to provide strategic direction for the association and strengthen its activities both locally and internationally.
The adoption of the constitution is also expected to provide a clear governance structure for Alagumgube as it enters another year of its existence.
The second anniversary celebration brought together members of the association to reflect on its achievements over the past two years and chart a path for the future.
The newly sworn-in executives expressed their commitment to working together to consolidate the gains made by the association and promote its vision and objectives.
The occasion marked an important milestone in the development of Alagumgube, with members reaffirming their commitment to unity, community development and the continued growth of the association.
As part of the anniversary activities, members also agreed that the association’s third anniversary celebration will be held in Virginia, United States, from August 20 to 21, 2027. The decision sets the stage for the association’s next major gathering and reflects its growing international presence.
