Fire destroys wooden structures at Tantra Hill
At least 10 wooden structures have been affected by a fire outbreak at Golden Door near Tantra Hill in Accra.
The fire broke out on Monday, August 17, 2026, engulfing the structures, which were being used for both residential and commercial activities.
Firefighters from the Amasaman Fire Station were dispatched to the scene and worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjoining properties.
The incident was confirmed by the Assistant Divisional Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Alex King Nartey, in a Facebook post.
The cause of the fire and the full extent of the damage had not been established at the time of reporting.
