NPA announces sudden death of Deputy CEO Dr Dramani Bukari
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced the sudden death of its Deputy Chief Executive, Dr Dramani Bukari.
The Authority made the announcement in a statement expressing profound sorrow over the death of the senior official, describing his passing as a significant loss to the NPA, Ghana’s downstream petroleum industry and the many people who worked with him.
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” the NPA quoted from the Qur’an 2:156 in announcing his death.
The Board and Management of the NPA said they were deeply saddened by Dr Bukari’s passing but drew comfort from the belief that he had returned to his Maker.
“Dr. Dramani Bukari’s passing is a great loss to the Authority, the downstream petroleum industry, and all who had the privilege to work with him,” the statement said.
The Authority extended its condolences to Dr Bukari’s family, loved ones, colleagues and others mourning his death.
It also prayed for strength, comfort and peace for all those affected by the loss during the difficult period.
“May Allah grant our brother, boss and leader Eternal Rest. Ameen,” the NPA said.
Details about the circumstances surrounding Dr Bukari’s death and funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
