Migop Mining Funds GH¢100,000 Road Relief for Nkawie–Kyereyease

Migop Mining Limited has donated One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢100,000.00) to the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly to support the clearing and reshaping of the Nkawie–Kyereyease Road, a 5.5‑kilometre stretch that serves several farming communities within the municipality. The donation was made on August 10, 2026.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Boamah, received the donation on behalf of the Assembly, together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Eric Anarfi; Municipal Engineer, Gloria Asiedu‑Ampem; Finance Head, Nicholas Adu; Budget Head, Adomako Eric; and Head of Feeder Roads, Henry Annan.

Representing Migop Mining Limited at the presentation were Mr. Richard Gyasi, Community Relations Manager; Mr. David Ofori Yeboah, Administrator; Miss Marian Kukuaa Adams, Community Relations Officer; Miss Beatrice Asamani Amponsah, HR Officer; and Mr. Harrison Samsudee, Accounts Officer.

The financial support is aimed at facilitating the clearing and reshaping of the Nkawie–Kyereyease Road, which has deteriorated significantly and become increasingly difficult and unsafe for motorists, farmers, and other road users.

The road serves as a vital link for several farming communities, particularly those who rely on it to transport produce to the Nkawie Market. Its poor condition has created major challenges for the movement of agricultural goods, vehicles, and residents—especially during periods of heavy rainfall.

Migop Mining Limited responded promptly to the Assembly’s request for assistance, acknowledging the road’s importance to the economic and social well‑being of the communities it serves.

Speaking on the initiative, the company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sustainable community development and contributing positively to communities within its operational area. Migop Mining Limited emphasized that investing in critical infrastructure such as roads enhances accessibility, boosts economic activity, and improves the welfare of residents.

The company also expressed appreciation to the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly for its continued collaboration and reiterated its willingness to support initiatives that promote development and community well‑being.

This donation forms part of Migop Mining Limited’s broader commitment to community relations, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development within its operational zone.
