Mayor Nadia Mohamed Wallops the MAGA Fascist Apostolate

Minnesota's US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Mayor Nadia Mohamed of St Louis, Minnesota

Ordinarily, it ought not to have made the banner news headlines, except for the fact of the Somali nationality of the invidiously selected subject of venomous obloquy. And one might also quickly point out the fact of her bona fide Continental African ethnicity and identity and racial descent, of course. We are in this particular instance talking about the duly democratically elected Mayor of Saint (St) Louis Park, Minnesota (Trust me, she did not need some 11,000 stolen votes to clinch an electoral victory). Yes, we are here talking about Ms. Nadia Mohamed, who was recently reported by Alpha News, a local media establishment of St. Louis Park, to have taken the July 4th National Holiday and several legally permitted vacation days to visit some of her relatives in Somalia, her native country of birth and partial upbringing (See “Watch: Omar-Backed Mayor Mocks Outrage Over Somalia July 4th Trip With Sarcastic ‘Apology’” FOX News 7/9/26).

From the caption of the aforereferenced news story, it clearly appears that the prime target of impugnation by the presumable editors and the publishers of Alpha News was Minnesota’s Democratic Congressional Representative Ms. Ilhan Omar, the putatively most hated and rhetorically bullied and savaged Somali-born bona fide American citizen by the Barack Obama Birthday Certificate-Demanding President Donald John Trump and the Ultra-Conservative Wing of the Republican Party that goes by the twin designation of Agenda-2025 and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) Movement or Apostolate.

Either way, the critics of both Mayor Nadia Mohamed, 30, and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, 43, flagrantly and egregiously misfired in their cynical attempt, as they have always been known to do, to call the loyalty or the patriotic integrity of these two diligent, progressive and lambent-witted African Women of the Islamic Faith into question and, for that matter, the dastardly attempt to portray these two civically unimpeachable and emulative and inimically astute stateswomen into question. It absolutely goes without saying that the onus of this bizarre test of loyalty and/or patriotism really lies with MAGA Kleptocrats who have absolutely no qualms about extorting $400 Ultra-Modern Presidential Jets from the Arab Sheikhs, Emirs and Crown Princes of the Persian Gulf States, even while also shamelessly spewing contemptuous and abject and downright contemptible vitriol at those of their political and cognitive superiors who just happen to either possess Islamic-oriented names or happen to be of Islamic faith or persuasion.

But the real issue at stake here is not the purely perfunctory question of how any bona fide American Citizen, be s/he a public figure, a politician or a private citizen chooses or decides to celebrate the statutorily mandated 4th of July National Holiday. Rather, it essentially has to do with the fact of whether any group, community or sub-nation of people historically held hostage and in bondage as chattel-enslaved human properties and criminally deprived of their fundamental human rights can be bullied into abject docility and noetic submission, when it comes to the question of the flagrant and the routine disregard of their perennial and their historically proscribed relationship with the very Imperialist Nation of which they, more than any other group of humanity, people or community and subnationality, uniquely constitute the seminal lynchpin of what has presently become known and officially recognized as The United States of America.

It was precisely within the critical and the hypocritical context of the disparate relationship between the Indigenous Continental African-Descended American that the Great Nineteenth-Century African American Thinker, Philosopher and Human Rights Advocate and Leader Frederick Douglass delivered what has come to be widely described as The Greatest Statement on the Abject Hypocrisy of the July 4, 1776 United States’ Declaration of Sovereignty from British Colonial Imperialism (See “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” (Archives, National Museum of African American History and Culture).

Which is why it also constitutes the very height of arrogance and a criminal disrespect of Indigenous Continental African-Descended Bona Fide American Citizens to have the pathologically racist and the fascist MAGA descendants of yesteryear’s plantocrats and slavocrats impudently and imprudently attempt to bully them into criminal recognition of that which at its most progressive and mnemonically salutary, sharply drives home the indelible pain and the insufferable and the genocidal humiliation and the psychical and the psychological degradation of the Indigenous Continental African-Descended American Citizen.

The fact of the matter is that while, indeed, it may be a “Semi-Quincettial Fourth of July Weekend” to even the latter-day Half-Bavarian and the Half-Scottish Trump Family and Clan, as the MAGA-leaning FOX News Online news report so euphorically characterized it, right here in Harlem, New York City, it is barely 161 years into the official manumission of the hitherto Chattel Enslaved. In 1852, when Frederick Douglass delivered his at once most inimitably masterful and heart-wrenching and globally celebrated speech, referenced above, the Emancipation of the African American was officially 76 years behind schedule, with still nearly a decade-and-half years before the dawn of Juneteenth.

So, I guess the downright absurd and the morally and historically unpardonable and immitigably scandalous savaging of both Mayor Nadia Mohamed and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, by both Alpha News and FOX News was just intended by way of “A Game of Let’s Pretend.”
