With eight years of experience as Deputy Communications Officer, Mr. Kwashie says his decision is inspired by a desire to build on the achievements of the constituency’s communications team while introducing innovative approaches that will further strengthen the party’s engagement with members and the general public.

Widely regarded by many party members as a loyal, disciplined, and hardworking communicator, David Doe has remained at the forefront of the NDC’s communication efforts in Ketu South. His contributions have spanned media relations, grassroots mobilization, political advocacy, digital communication, and campaign coordination, earning him the respect of many within the party.

Supporters believe his consistency, commitment, and institutional knowledge have made him one of the constituency’s most experienced communicators. They argue that his years of service have equipped him with a deep understanding of the strengths and challenges of the communications team, positioning him to provide the leadership needed to consolidate past gains and drive further progress.

Speaking on his vision, Mr. Kwashie emphasized the need for a communication strategy that is responsive, coordinated, innovative, and firmly connected to the grassroots.

“Our communication must be proactive, united, innovative, and people-centred. Every achievement, every policy, and every vision of the NDC must reach every community and every voter. The time has come to move beyond maintaining the status quo. It is time for the next level,” he stated.

Party supporters also credit him with playing an important role in the NDC’s communication strategy during the last general election, citing his active media engagements, grassroots campaigns, and consistent promotion of the party’s message throughout the constituency.

As internal campaigns intensify ahead of the constituency elections, the race for Communications Officer is expected to attract significant attention.
