Binduri: Youth group urges Kusaug Youth Movement President Abugri Haruna to contest parliamentary seat
A group of young people in the Binduri Constituency of the Upper East Region has called on the National President of the Kusaug Youth Movement, Abugri Haruna, to contest the Binduri parliamentary seat in the next general election.
According to the group, Mr Haruna has demonstrated strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to championing the interests of the people of Kusaug, particularly the youth, making him a suitable candidate to represent the constituency in Parliament.
The youth said his advocacy on issues affecting the area, coupled with his efforts to promote peace, unity and development, has earned him the confidence of many residents.
Mr Haruna has served as the National President of the Kusaug Youth Movement for some time and has been actively involved in mobilising young people and speaking on matters concerning the development and welfare of the Kusaug Traditional Area.
The group believes his experience, leadership qualities and deep understanding of the challenges facing the constituency position him to effectively lobby for development projects and address the needs of the people if elected as Member of Parliament.
