Anwelle Foundation Covers BECE Result Checking for All 1,194 Jirapa Candidates
The Anwelle Foundation has fully funded the checking and printing of the 2026 BECE results for all 1,194 Junior High School candidates in the Jirapa Municipality — ensuring every student receives their results free of charge.
Under the initiative, the Foundation has provided result‑checking vouchers and will absorb the cost of printing, removing the financial burden that often prevents some candidates from accessing their results.
The vouchers were handed over to the Jirapa Municipal Education Directorate by the Foundation’s Director of Communications, Nuah Maxwell, and Director of Programmes and Projects, Emmanuel Kog Deribaa.
Receiving them, Municipal Director of Education Huudu Abdul Kaadir praised the intervention as timely and transformative.
“We are hunters without tools,” he said. “Although we are determined to improve educational outcomes, we often lack the resources needed to implement many worthwhile initiatives. So when interventions like these come up, we become excited because they help us make a real difference in the lives of our students.”
Mr. Kaadir expressed interest in a long‑term partnership with the Foundation to tackle persistent challenges in the municipality’s education sector, noting that sustained collaboration could expand opportunities and improve teaching and learning.
Representatives of the Foundation reaffirmed their commitment to supporting quality education, stressing that targeted interventions remain central to their mission of improving learning outcomes and creating opportunities for young people.
This latest support follows another education‑focused programme by the Foundation, delivered in partnership with Wulsong, to organise fully funded pre‑SHS classes for JHS graduates across the municipality — aimed at boosting academic preparedness, offering career guidance and ensuring a smooth transition to senior high school.
