Impact-making AI innovators, startups and companies shortlisted for 2026 Ghana AI Awards
Organisers of the Ghana AI Summit & Awards 2026 have unveiled the shortlist for this year's awards.
The nominations show several individuals, startups, companies and organisations recognised for their contributions to the development and application of artificial intelligence in Ghana.
The shortlisted nominees span categories including AI innovation, entrepreneurship, research, public service and social impact.
In a statement issued on Friday, July 24, the organisers said winners will be announced during the Ghana AI Summit & Awards scheduled for July 29–30, in Accra.
"The shortlisted nominees were selected following a competitive review process and represent excellence in AI innovation, entrepreneurship, research, public service, and social impact," read part of the statement.
The statement added that the awards seek to recognise "individuals and organisations developing AI solutions that address real-world challenges while driving economic and social transformation."

The organisers said the finalists would be recognised for their achievements during the two-day summit in Accra.
"The quality and diversity of nominations received reflect the growing innovation, talent, and investment shaping Ghana's artificial intelligence ecosystem," the statement said.
